Founded by James Carroll — a former actor and relative of the legendary female impersonator Danny La Rue — Minerva was born from a simple mission: to give Northern actors a strong platform in the industry. James’ experience spans national tours, major productions, and pantomimes across the UK, before turning to teaching in 2020. He has since worked as a visiting lecturer at some of the country’s top stage schools, sharing his insight and expertise with the next generation of performers.
