As Managing Director and Head Agent, James leads Minerva with vision, dedication, and first-hand industry experience. Having toured the UK in acclaimed productions and worked across both stage and screen, he brings a performer’s understanding to every client relationship. James’ transition into teaching and lecturing sharpened his ability to guide, mentor, and champion actors at every stage of their career. His mission remains clear: to ensure Northern performers are not only represented but celebrated.

Laura Lee Daly — Senior Agent

Laura brings a wealth of creativity, compassion, and industry know-how to her role. A North East native and trained actor, she understands the challenges and triumphs of building a career in the arts. Her background spans award-nominated directing to championing projects with a strong social conscience. Laura is passionate about supporting actors to discover their unique voice, combining professional drive with a deeply personal approach to representation

Mia Drew — Agent

Mia offers fresh insight and a performer’s perspective to her clients. A graduate of Leeds Conservatoire, she toured nationally with Collingwood Learning before moving into talent representation. Originally from Cornwall and now based in the North, Mia is especially committed to uplifting Northern actors and voices. With empathy, energy, and an instinct for spotting potential, she plays a key role in helping talent thrive.

Abbie Purvis — Agent

Abbie brings compassion, drive, and a deep understanding of the industry from her own work as a stage and screen actor. She is dedicated to broadening representation and ensuring more voices are heard. Known for her charisma and fearless approach, Abbie pushes boundaries while always keeping her clients’ ambitions at the heart of her work. Mariah Whelan — Agent

Mariah is passionate about championing bold, original voices. With a background in drama and clowning, she thrives on creativity, authenticity, and artistic risk-taking. Trained at Sheena Simon College and St Mary’s University, she brings both Northern warmth and sharp industry insight to her role. Mariah’s goal is always to help actors embrace their individuality and bring something fresh to every opportunity.
